The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada hopes to raise more than $130,000 in Moose Jaw this weekend.
The 27th annual K+S MS Bike event kicked off this morning, with more than 150 participants.
Sierra Thompson with the MS Society of Canada says the two day long event is inspiring every year.
“I find even just being in the atmosphere surrounded by all those in the MS community is incredible inspiring,” Thompson says.
“You’re able to share stories about your experience, whether you may live with MS or know someone who lives with MS, it’s just such a great support system.”
The event runs on August 20 and August 21.
Money raised from the event goes towards research for MS.
There are more than 3,500 people living with the disease in Saskatchewan.
