Another worker has been seriously injured at Agrium’s Vanscoy potash mine in less than two weeks.
The employee was injured Sunday and airlifted to hospital in Saskatoon, according to the president of the United Steelworkers Local 7552.
His injuries are serious but he is expected to survive.

The incident is the second time in less than two weeks a worker at the mine was seriously injured on the job..
29-year old Chad Wiklun was injured August 8 after he became caught between two pieces of equipment.
He died days later in hospital.
An investigation is ongoing into Sunday’s incident.
