Regina city crews will start spraying for broadleaf weeds, including dandelions on Monday.
The product used is Trillion Turf Herbicide and is registered by Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency.
Signage will be posted at treated areas and signs will remain posted for 48 hours following treatment.
The City monitors open space areas each year and priority is given where weed counts exceed thresholds. As a result, not all areas of the city require treatment.
Residents can contact the City’s Pesticide advisory line at 306-777-7777 to find out ahead of time what areas will be sprayed and when.
