The Village of Craven becomes a city every summer as home of the Craven Country Jamboree and the hope from organizers is that this weekend’s TruckFest on the same site will also become an annual event.
Canadian TruckFest is Friday through Sunday and spokesperson Doug Denance describes it as a motorsports and music spectacular.
Monster trucks, the Canadian Tuff Truck Championships, the first ever provincial tow truck competition, a demolition derby, tire burn out competition, a swap meet and a show and shine are all part of the weekend.
The headliner on stage is Doc Walker.
Denance says there are many truck festivals in the U.S., but this weekend’s event will be the first in Canada.
