Saskatoon Police are warning residents to use caution and common-sense when posting an item for sale through social media.
On Sunday, around 12:45pm, police received a call of a robbery on Aveune R South.
The victim had placed an ad for an article for sale online, using a social media platform.
An agreement was apparently reached by two people to meet.
But when the victim tried to sell the article, the suspect pulled out a knife, stole the items, and left on foot.
According to police, the suspect is described as Indigenous, 19-20 years of age, 6’3″ tall, wearing black baggie jeans, black shoes, with short hair.
He was wearing a black sweater with a logo on the bottom of the back of the sweater saying “Only God Can Judge Us”.
