A Moose Jaw man faces several charges after an incident on Tuesday afternoon where a taser was deployed.
Around 1230, police tried to arrest a man walking in the area of Hall Street West and 5th Avenue Northwest as he was wanted on several criminal charges.
Upon seeing police, the man ran resulting in a foot chase.
That chase ended when the man stopped and confronted officers with a knife.
Two attempts to use a taser failed with the man getting onto the roof of a home where he stayed for about two hours before being convinced by negotiators to come down peacefully.
Charged is 30 year Curtis Cozart.
