Police have put the damage estimate at more than $100,000 after six cars parked on a street in Moose Jaw, Sask., were hit by a driver who was allegedly impaired.
Investigators say the crash happened a few minutes after 8;00 p.m. Tuesday when a vehicle going at high speed went over the raised median in the 100 block of Fairford Street West and into oncoming traffic.
It then collided with several cars sitting on the other side of the road.
Fans who were attending the Dolly Parton show in Moose Jaw were informed there had been an incident and several cars had been towed away.
According to some spectators, they were advised where the accident occurred and what type of cars had been hit.
Five of the six damaged vehicles had to be towed.
A 30-year old Moose Jaw man has been charged with impaired driving and driving over .08.
Police have also suspended his driver’s licence indefinitely and impounded his vehicle for 30 days
