The Riders aren’t likely to have their leading receiver in the lineup Sunday afternoon against Edmonton
Head coach and GM Chris Jones told reporters Friday it doesn’t look as if Roosevelt will be healthy enough to play against the Eskimos after suffering a leg injury in the loss last week to the Bombers. While Roosevelt did come back to play in that game, he has not practiced all week. Jones would not say how serious the injury is, and whether or not it will keep him out of the lineup for more than one game.
While Roosevelt is out, it looks as if running back Curtis Steele is set to return to the lineup after being injured early in the season.
The Riders and Eskimos meet at Mosaic Stadium in a 230 kickoff with our pre-game coverage starting at 1130 on 620 CKRM.
