There IS a bright light at the end of this tunnel.
It’s called the sun.
And it will return – next week.
Dave Baggaley from Environment Canada says southern Saskatchewan will likely get drenched this weekend.
But then he says – after two low pressure systems move out – the sun will return and so will warmer temperatures.
Meantime, Baggaley says it’s not the best timing for these conditions, however, it’s also quite normal for this time of the year.
He says a special weather statement has been issued for most parts of southern and central Saskatchewan, adding it should clear up by later Sunday.
