A crop specialist says it will be several days before harvest resumes across the Saskatchewan grainbelt.
Environment Canada says most of the grainbelt received 15 to 30 millimeters of rain from last Thursday through early Sunday.
Shannon Friesen, regional crop specialist in Moose Jaw, says farmers will likely be back in the field by Friday.
Ideally, she says it would happen before then but it all depends on drying conditions and the amount of rainfall.
Otherwise, combines should be rolling this weekend.
The weather office says Regina and Moose Jaw received 26 millimeters, Yorkton had 15 mm and Swift Current 29 millimeters.
