Packed and ready to roll. And for once, I mean it!
OR do I? Just as I’m leaving home this morning, I cannot find the little change purse I have which has my bank card in it! Good Grief.
Well, after mom’s 97th birthday supper we stopped at Safeway, I’m thinking I dropped it at her place – in the grocery bag, let’s hope she didn’t throw it out!
I love driving, it is a relaxing thing – having a travel companion on this quick trip would have been okay, but alone you can turn up the tunes or just travel in silence. Sometimes I like to yell at random things. Talk about laughter therapy!
My fancy wedding clothes are packed and some other clothes – definitely leaving room for some quick shopping in Calgary!
When I head back West, it feels like going home. A quick stop to visit my friend Laurie and her family is always a must. And this time a hotel stay that excites me as well. I think they have a pool, but I haven’t packed any swim gear – don’t think there will be time for that.
Weather in Alberta has “FALL” written all over it, while Regina will bask in a heat wave! WHAT THE HECK!
Amandha and Mike, cannot wait to see you tie the knot and enjoy your special day. Alberta girl and Saskatchewan boy – can’t get much better than that!
