Police say they were contacted by an unknown woman just after 6:00 a.m., on Monday, saying someone had been shot at a residence in the 900 block of Argyle Street.
When they arrived, police found a 22-year old man with an apparent gunshot wound to his leg.
EMS then transported him to the hospital.
Police say the man was not able to give them much information at the time of the incident, but they do not believe there is an elevated risk to the public from the incident.
A search of the house and the area did not recover any firearms.
The investigation is ongoing.
