Regina police have four people–three men and a woman– in custody facing multiple charges of drug trafficking after a search of a home Wednesday.
Police went to the home on the 1000 block of 12th Avenue North to execute a search warrant. Upon entering the home, police say they were met by an aggressive dog who charged one of the officers resulting in a shot being fired causing the dog to flee without injury.
The search of the home uncovered drugs, weapons and cash along with other stolen property.
Charged are 43 year old Lori Panteluk, 32 year old Cole Symons, 36 year old Josh Hamilton and 50 year old Arron Racette.
Racette, Panteluk and Hamilton were in court Thursday while Symons was handed over to the RCMP to deal with some outstanding warrants and will appear in court at a later date.
