My building should be very quiet this weekend as my neighbours do a fair amount of commuting to Calgary where they have family. That means I could be crankin’ up the tunes and get some much needed G-Time at the home front!
I loved my Saskatchewan Road Trips when I lived in Alberta. Out the door by ten!
Last weekend was an epic; sixteen hundred kilometres in 15 hours plus a gap night – which I was up til 3am! It took me 3 days to catch up on sleep.
Long weekends are a great time to recharge, spend time with family or in some cases just hang with friends, maybe a get away on your own. Shopping long weekends, heading to weddings or other occasions.
Football, baseball, hockey seem to factor in too. That and eating a full blown meal. Hey, snack your way through the weekend with junk food!!
Whatever you do, which ever direction you travel, make sure you take time to reflect on the way your life is going. Cherish all the people that make your days special and fulfilling.
A solid relationship with family and friends makes your world fill fulfilled and you cannot go wrong there.
Now, let me say, cooking a Thanksgiving feast may not work for me. AND perhaps should be left to a professional (mom or someone else that has experience), however it has to start somewhere! #halfcooked#bird
