Highways throughout central and southern Saskatchewan are icy following a fresh snowfall across parts of the province.
Environment Canada says the snow combined with temperatures near the zero mark has left roads wet and icy.
The Highway hotline says motorists should check their route before travel..
Early Tuesday – just after midnight, Kindersley RCMP members responded to a semi which slid off the road and tipped.
This accident resulted a partial closure on Highway 7, 2 kilometres west of Flaxcombe.
At approximately 6:05am, White Butte RCMP were called to a two vehicle mvc on Highway 33 near Lajord.
Highway 33 was closed due to extremely icy conditions.
RCMP are asking all drivers in the Regina area to exercise extreme caution due to poor road conditions
