Yesterday morning on the way to work I saw something that always ticks me off. Someone was driving right in front of me, but they probably didn’t even know I was behind them. Their back window was totally covered in snow. I don’t understand how someone can hit the road without having a clear view out of all of their windows. When I was finally able to pull up next to the driver, the side windows weren’t wiped free of snow either, but at least they weren’t as bad as the back window. The hood was covered in snow and the only part of the windshield that was cleared off was the part that the wipers could reach. The return of the lazy winter driver.
Speaking of winter, the NHL regular season kicks off tonight. My Leafs are in Ottawa and, to be honest, I could care less. Although I’m wrapped up in the Blue Jays, I haven’t had any interest in hockey for a few years now. It’s funny how little interest you have when your teams sucks as badly as the Leafs have for many years now. I still call them “my Leafs,” although that’s probably more out of habit than anything else. I’ll check the scores when I come into work every morning, but unless things change drastically early on, I can’t see myself sitting down to watch a whole game.
Snow on the cars and the Leafs in the tank. Looks like another typical winter season already.
