The Regina Pats are announcing the launch of the Partner Technologies “Brooksy Bucks for Big Brothers” program. The launch Wednesday will coincide with the return of the Pats 20-year old captain Adam Brooks from training camp with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Brooksy Bucks will be accumulated throughout the season on a basis of $100 for each regular season point and $250 per playoff point (if applicable) achieved by Brooks. All proceeds will be presented to Big Brothers of Regina.
“Just when we thought we couldn’t cheer any louder for our beloved Regina Pats, Partner Technologies Inc. (PTI) just had to give us one more BIG reason to go crazy every time Adam Brooks scores a point,” said Ash Noureldin, Executive Director for Big Brothers of Regina. “PTI continues to be such a big deal to Big Brothers of Regina, and we could not be more proud of them for powering mentoring programs in their community.”
Last season Brooks tallied 120 points, (38G, 82A). For his efforts, he was awarded the WHL’s Bobby Clarke Trophy as the leagues scoring champion. He continued his torrid scoring pace in the playoffs, totaling 23 points (7G, 16A). If this valuable program had been in place last year, Adam Brooks point totals would have earned Big Brothers $17, 750 from PTI.
