The power of music was alive and well at the Country Music Hall Of Fame Induction ceremony last night.
The inductees were Randy Travis, fiddler Charlie Daniels, and record producer Fred Foster; but there is no doubt who stole the show. With Randy being unable to speak his wife, Mary Davis-Travis, told his story of many surgeries and procedures since his stroke three years ago.
“Randy stared death in the face, but death blinked,” Davis-Travis said. “Today God’s proof of a miracle stands before you.”
What happened next was quite remarkable…. With the help of Garth Brooks , and everyone in attendance, he was able to perform “Amazing Grace”.
What a great voice!
Check it out.
