They suck in so many ways. I grew up on the farm and always found that being in the barn and on horse back was a special treat. I love it, but it didn’t love me back – because I have allergies.
I would go out for a horseback ride and come back and feel like I had a 1,000 pound weight on me. I was being crushed from the inside out – my lungs fighting to fill with air and pushing out air, that was a chore. Cats. Dogs. Cattle. Horses. Chickens – barn dust.
However, it is hard to resist the beauty of these animals. They have a certain sense that you are allergic, I’m sure, because who do they go to immediately – ME!
Today, Sophie, a rescue dog from Quebec came to visit us. If you check out the social media pages of 620 CKRM you’ll see her and she’s awesome. A kennel trained, bi-lingual dog – how cool is that. She just needs some love. A law was passed that has moved her away from her family and now she needs new people to love with!
If you like a loyal companion with a lot of potential to be the coolest dog on the block then I think you need to see the people and critters at Prairie Sky Dog Rescue.
Sophie needs someone to love and respect her, she’s going to a great addition to your life.
