Premier Brad Wall is expected to release a report on the proposed federal carbon tax Tuesday.
The issue is expected to be a highlight when the Saskatchewan legislature resumes sitting Wednesday.
Agriculture minister Lyle Stewart says the proposed tax would cost the average farmer at least ten-thousand dollars.
Stewart says the province is prepared to battle the proposed federal tax.
The premier also has a presentation at Tuesday at noon to the Regina Chamber of Commerce.
It is expected Brad Wall will outline a plan to fight climate change.
