The Regina International Airport will be adding Orlando, Florida to its list of destinations.
YQR announced WestJet will offer a direct non-stop flight once-weekly on Thursdays to Orlando starting this October.
“Orlando is one of our top transborder destinations, so it is not surprising that we are seeing Saskatchewan travellers already booking and taking advantage of this new direct non-stop service from YQR,” said Richmond Graham, President and CEO, Regina Airport Authority.
“We will continue to work with our partners Orlando International Airport and WestJet to ensure the route meets all expectations. The ability to travel direct non-stop from YQR will allow for a seamless experience for our guests and their families – and more time for them to enjoy the sunshine.”
The flights will be seasonal and will run from October 27, 2016 to April 27, 2017.
