A 17-year old Regina youth is facing 29 charges of Mischief Under 5-thousand dollars as the result of investigation into graffiti incidents in the city.
The 29 charges represent property damage in the tens-of-thousands-of-dollars according to Regina Police.
While some business properties were targets, many of the victims were left with the clean-up costs are individual city residents.
The incidents date back to July of 2016 when “tags” started showing up in the McAra and MacDonald Streets.
On Wednesday, authorities arrested a 17 year-old.
He was charged in connection with numerous incidents of mischief, alleged to have occurred between July 29th and October 21st of this year.
The teen made his first court appearance on these charges in Youth Court on Thursday.
