SaskCanola says the voting period for the board of directors is now open until noon, Wednesday November 30th.
Every registered Saskatchewan canola producer was mailed a letter outlining how to vote either on the web or by paper ballot.
Six nominations were received to fill four vacant seats at SaskCanola’s board table.
The six nominees include Keith Fournier from Lone Rock/Maidstone, Gerry Hertz from Edenwold, Kyle Korneychuk from Pelly, Patricia Lung from Humboldt, Wayne Truman from Redvers, and Doyle Wiebe from Langham.
Board chair Terry Youzwa encourages farmers to exercise their right to vote.
The results will be announced in mid-December.
