I have waded into the word of the ever popular FITBIT generation.
There are so many of these tracking products. Research helps, kind of like buying a car or a house, you want something that serves all of the purposes you have in mind.
Tracking how many steps, how little sleep you actually get, how you need to increase you heart rate for “fat burn” more often. And the million other things it can do.
I have set my weight loss goal, which it appears I’ve been working on since I got to Regina. I know I can do it. But if I really try, FitBit Hard, I will loose 14 pounds by end of December.
So, this lofty goal is achievable once I get off my ass! Did I mention I’ve had a YMCA membership since I started at RM. I used to go on a regular basis, now its just an investment in a building. Best be changing that.
With Grey Cup coming, I know I’ll be walking a lot (let’s not talk about the drinking – that’s counter productive!). I walk every day to work and also want to look at how much more I need to do.
It is a delicate balance between the good and the bad!
On the palm of my hand – No Candy. No Pop. No Chips! I’m pretty good at keeping off the pop! Candy and Halloween – ouch. Damn those Cheezies and chips. Remember every day is a new day.
The thing that interests me; the sleep monitor. 7 restless moments interrupted my 5 plus hours of sleep. To achieve what I hope, I need to have more regular sleep patterns. Is this attainable. I guess, I’ll just have to try – not unlike dropping to my goal weight.
Fit Bit and I will concur ..all about accountability.
