A Regina man faces charges after getting tasered Thursday afternoon.
Police say they were called to a home on the 1600 block of Toronto Street after reports of a man causing a disturbance inside.
Upon arrival, they found the man holding a large knife in both hands. He was told to drop the weapons, but refused resulting in deployment of the taser.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment of an injury suffered while holding the knives.
48 year old Darwin Cote will be in court Friday morning.
