Tomorrow the Regina Police Service and Family Service Regina is partnering up to promote Giving Tuesday.
Together they have set a goal to raise $5,000 for Family Service Regina.
The non-profit organization provides services for victims of domestic violence as well as teen pregnancies and people in need of counselling services.
CEO of Family Service Regina, Shellie Pociuk is encouraging everyone to get involved anyway they can.
Pociuk says anyone making an online donation is asked to keep the “giving going” by using the hashtags #GivingTuesdayCA, #TogetherWeCan, and #UNSELFIE to encourage friends and family to share their own stories on the spectrum.
Police Chief, Evan Bray says domestic violence is a daily call they receive which shows the need for continued growth and support of non-profit organizations like Family Service Regina.
Pociuk says events likes these have a sole cause of creating a healthier Regina.
