With the provincial government being forced every day to answer questions on a controversial land deal for the Global Transportation Hub, another development has occurred.
Four members of the board of directors have resigned.
The reasons for the resignations of Marcella Szel, Mayo Schmidt, Barry Goldberg and Louis Ranger are not clear.
GTH Minister Jeremy Harrison was asked about the resignations Tuesday and said he had not spoken to the former board members so it is not known if the resignations and the current controversy surrounding the land deals are connected.
The provincial auditor has stated the land deals are the subject of an RCMP investigation.
New board members will be introduced at a press conference on Wednesday.
