It will seem a bit more like Christmas around the Saskatchewan Legislature grounds Thursday evening.
The illumination ceremony will take place starting at 6:30 p.m. – with the lights in and around the legislative building to be lit.
It’s an indoor event, held in the rotunda of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building. The tree lighting is at 7:00 p.m.
Entertainment and activities are planned along with caroling, face painting, a visit from Santa, goodie bags, and a magic show at 7:30 p.m. in the Saskatchewan Gallery.
The Christmas Lights program aims to brighten all of Canada’s 13 provincial and territorial capitals with thousands of lights in celebration of the holiday season.
