To say it’s cold Tuesday is an understatement.
Southern Saskatchewan has a series of weather fronts moving through the province which are bringing blizzard-like conditions or extremely cold weather to many regions.
Dan Fulton with Environment Canada says it’s the northwest wind which will make it even colder today.
Fulton says the Estevan area was under a blizzard warning Monday and these treacherous conditions will remain into Tuesday.
The south east corner of the province will once again experience snow, winds and very cold weather.
Highway Hotline says some roads in the southeast are “travel not recommended” while other highways are experiencing icy and snow-covered areas – mostly doe to the high winds.
Fulton says we can’t expect a break anytime soon with this doze of winter.
In fact, the weekend is expected to be even colder.
