Take on the week, like nobody’s business. After all daylight’s wasting as we get closer to December 25.
Way too often the stress of enduring twelve months in a year all loads up on these final days.
Feeling a bit anxious with high expectations; do these feelings hamper your days!
I worry very little, but at times things do seem to pile up. Perhaps it all boils down to the way you project yourself the rest of the year.
People assume that if you are very much a “Yes” person through 350 days of a year, you should be good to roll for those last 15 days.
This my friends is not the case. As a matter of fact, you probably should say NO more often. There is nothing wrong or disrespectful by declining an invitation. More than anytime of the year your free time to focus and regroup is important.
You feel your back ache, your shoulders stiffen and a tension headache building. Best thing, don’t go on Facebook, don’t answer tweets or texts or private messages. Take time to “deprogram” “de-stress”. Stuff gets done all the same.
The less you have to worry about the better. Who puts these expectations on you in the first place. YOU!
The cold snap we are working through doesn’t help much either. Hard to get around – vehicles not starting, too cold to stand and wait for the bus or to walk any distance. Some people have no choice. It really tests a person’s patience.
Be kind to yourself and those around you! And if you can’t then just keep moving.
This week on 620 CKRM we do keep moving but along with a bit of good-will to our fellow man / woman.
PBR event is coming to Moose Jaw in June and you’ll win tickets this week with Lewis & Evans PLUS a Ronnie Dunn download of his new album and a chance to win a very cool piece of photography artwork from Ronnie. Tomorrow we have a concert announcement and opportunities to win tickets.
A busy Tuesday is on track!
