This morning after work I have a bit of running around to do.
My first stop is to see my doctor to get a prescription refilled and to get a mole checked out. Last time I saw him he said it wasn’t anything to worry about, but when you’re 54, why take chances, right? I never look forward to going to the doctors office. Even though I have an appointment, I might as well not have. I never get in at the scheduled time. Everyone is coughing, sneezing, limping, or worse. It’s never a pleasant place to visit. I guess I should thank my lucky stars that’s it’s not something serious that I’m going for. I’ll probably have more on this visit in my blog tomorrow!
After that I’m off to grab a “Secret Santa” gift for the Christmas party on Saturday night. I won’t be attending, but I don’t want to be a spoiled sport. I have no idea what I’m buying for this person, so I’d better come up with some kind of a game plan sometime this morning, otherwise I’ll be driving aimlessly around the city. It’s not like I haven’t done that before, but if I’m driving around Regina without a clue where I’m going, I’d rather it be in July as opposed to December.
Looking for some kind of positive in this cold weather? The first day of winter arrives in only 8 days. After that, the days start getting longer!
