The City of Regina is adding 19 new metered stalls to Broad Street which will take credit cards as payment.
The stalls on Broad Street between Victoria Avenue and 13 Avenue on both sides of the road will be available during non-peak traffic hours.
The parking spots will not be available during bus lane hours (7 to 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.).
The City hopes the new meters will encourage turnover and make it more convenient for residents to visit downtown businesses.
The meters will be installed on Sunday, December 18 and work will be completed in one day.
Credit card meters were first installed in Regina in May 2015.
