Two men are in custody after an alleged forcible confinement incident.
Regina Police received a call from a man early this morning who said he was held against his will for an eight hour drive from Alberta, by two men who were armed with firearms and a taser.
Police were able to locate the suspect vehicle around 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning at a motel parking lot on the cities east side.
Due to the potential of firearms the Special Weapons and Tactics Team along with Crisis Negotiators were called to the scene.
Officers were able to take the two men into custody without incident shortly after 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
Searches later lead to the discovery of a firearm.
Charges are pending as the investigation continues.
