Close out 2016 and see who or what has lasted in an unsettled business year. The economy that has taken its bumps and bruises.
Right here in our little corner of things, downtown Regina, we have a new neighbour.
Let’s just say over the past year, SUV’s would drive up, leggy women would get out and go into the business on the Northwest corner of 12th and Rose. What is going on in there?!
“Models, they are models. I think they are doing a photo shoot!”
That was one response and apparently, the best and correct one.
Over the last month and a bit, the window dressings were removed and in moved all the gear that makes a designer, well a DESIGNER.
Our new neighbour is DEAN RENWICK.
Sewing machines, bolts of cloth, designers – busy, busy.
Check out the open concept; its a bee-hive of activity. And not something you see curbside Regina.
Regina’s Fashion Week has taken off and Dean Renwick is a visionary when it comes to this promotion of the industry on the prairies. He has also lent a hand to young designers that are looking for mentorship. Hats off to you, Dean!
Your business sure adds to our neighbourhood.
