Mild temperatures in Saskatchewan are a pleasant diversion from that recent cold-snap which drove people indoors for several weeks.
However, Environment Canada says we could be back into the colder conditions on Christmas Day.
The weather office says we can also expect some snow – likely Tuesday night. And flurries are in the forecast for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Look for the sunshine this week to welcome in the first official day of winter early Wednesday morning.
The winter solstice officially begins at 4:44 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016.
