The Queen City Brass Band is hosting a unique Christmas concert on Wednesday, December 21 to help support homeless shelters in Regina.
Stockings With Care will take place at the Knox-Metropolitan United Church.
Admission for the event is FREE with the donation of socks for the homeless.
“We are pleased to work with Carmichael Outreach and Transition House to provide support at this time of year. When we heard that socks were often needed by the homeless, titling the event Stockings With Care and asking for donations of socks felt like a perfect fit with this giving season,” said the organization in a recent media release.
The event will take place at Knox-Metropolitan United Church, 2340 Victoria Avenue on Wednesday December 21, at 7:30pm.
Adults are asked to donate 2 pairs of socks and children 1 pair in lieu of an admission fee.
Socks of all sizes are needed by homeless shelters, so put a sock (or two) in our collection box, and let the Queen City Brass Band rock your socks!
