Two men and one woman have been charged after Regina police conducted a high-risk search warrant at a home in the 2000 block of Broder Street on Thursday.
The Regina Police Service’s canine unit, SWAT team and crisis negotiators were called in to assist in the investigation that lasted from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Police say several people were cleared from the house.
A gun and a small quantity of methamphetamine was recovered in the search.
As a result, the two men and one woman were taken into custody without further incident.
Conridge Desjarlais, 33, of Regina has been charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm; careless use of a firearm; weapon, prohibited device or ammunition; and possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order.
He made his first appearance in provincial court on Friday at 9:30 a.m.
Eldon Cyr, 33, of Regina has been charged with failure to comply with probation order; fail to comply with undertaking; and possession of a scheduled substance (methamphetamine).
He was released on an officer undertaking and will make his first appearance in provincial court on these charges Feb. 6 at 9:30 a.m.
Lana Zerr, 32, of Regina has been charged with possession of a scheduled substance (methamphetamine).
She was released on officer recognizance and will make her first appearance in provincial court on these charges on Feb. 7 at 9:30 a.m.
