A 17 year-old boy was sent to hospital after an aggravated assault involving weapons in Regina’s North Central neighborhood early Friday.
Police were called just after 3:30 a.m. Friday morning, to the 1100 block of Cameron Street after reports that numerous people were assaulting someone with weapons.
Police along with a canine unit were able to track down and arrest a 16 and 17 year-old boy at one residence on the 600 block of Robinson Street, and a 15 year-old girl at another residence on the 1000 block of Retallack Street.
As a result the two boys have been charged with Aggravated Assault, they both appeared in Youth Court later Friday, the girl was later released and has not been charged.
A 28 year-old woman was also arrested at the residence on Robinson Street on an unrelated matter, Amanda Wasacase, of Regina was charged with a Breach of Undertaking.
