Saskatchewan’s new single health authority could begin work as soon as this fall.
Last week, Health Minister Jim Reiter made the announcement the province will be amalgamating the current 12 health regions, into one single authority.

Dewar says the value is also creating not so much one centralized organization, but one cooperate entity , which will also make services more consistent over time.
He says this move will help create more dependable services.
