Just when it felt like there was no light at the end of the tunnel, Environment Canada has provided us with one.
While temperatures to start the week will still be frigid, the weather office has given us a glimmer of hope: single digit daytime highs.
Monday in Regina, we can expect some snow – about 5cm according to meteorologists.
But snowfall is expected to be short-lived while the forces of nature usher in a warm front which could bring us daytime highs near minus 5.
Of course, we all know this is Saskatchewan. Anything can change – especially with the weather.
But it’s pleasant to see a chance of milder weather by the end of the week.
