Prince Albert Police say the 11-point-2-5 kilograms of cocaine seized from an apartment suite in August would have an estimated street value, in its purest form, of over 1 million dollars.
The police service’s Integrated Street Enforcement Team also seized 12 kilograms of procaine and two 25 kilogram drugs of phenacetin, two known agents to dilute cocaine, is the city’s largest ever cocaine bust.
Inspector Donovan Fisher says the seizure of procaine and phenacetin shows the dangers of illicit drugs.
Officers also found a press they believe was used to create bricks of cocaine that would be shipped to other communities.
Five people between the ages of 19 and 27 have been arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. A warrant has been issued for a sixth person, 21 year old Kelsey Bear.
