Yesterday after I work I decided I would take advantage of the nice weather and get something done before I had to run next door to grab Harley for another day of dogsitting. If Harley and Max were going to be running around the yard for the afternoon I wanted to make sure they weren’t running over the business they had left behind the day before. Actually, it had been a week since I last scooped up some doggy doo in the back yard, so it was time.
The nice thing about the cold weather is it’s a lot easier and a lot less messy to grab that stuff when it’s frozen solid. The best part? It doesn’t smell!
So, I grabbed a couple of plastic bags and made my way out to the yard. Max came out with me and, as usual, thought we were playing a game. It’s tough scoopin’ up the poop with a dog jumping all around you. He thinks I’m out there to play, but at this point it’s all business.
It wasn’t long before I was finished and making my way to the garbage with a half full bag of doggy doo-doo.
There it was, a clean yard ready for day number two of the exploits of Max and Harley.
