Adam Hadwin has become the first Canadian to post a sub-60 round on the PGA Tour.
Hadwin, who was born in Moose Jaw as his father was the club pro at the Lynbrook course, but grew up in Abbotsford, BC posted a 59 in the third round of the Careerbuilder Challenge in La Quinta, California on Saturday.
The 29 year old becomes the 9th player in PGA history to shoot a sub-6o round.
Hadwin goes into the final day with a one shot lead over Dominic Bozzelli and two shots over four others.
Weyburn’s Graham DeLaet missed the 3rd round cut.
