Penny Barker and her rink from Moose Jaw are the provincial women’s curling champ.
Barker beat Robyn Silvernagle in the final Sunday by a score of 10-7 to win her first provincial title.
She will now head to St. Catherines. Ontario to represent Saskatchewan at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
When Barker faces Manitoba, she will play a familiar face on the Saskatchewan curling scene.
Michelle Englot will represent our neighbouring province after winning the provincial title yesterday. It is Englot’s first year curling in Manitoba.
