Dawson Leedahl and Adam Brooks scored for the Regina Pats who won their fifth straight this afternoon, 2-1 over the Saskatoon Blades.
Brooks, who also recorded an assist now has 19 points over his last eight games and 86 on the season, which is just two back of teammate Sam Steels league leading 88.
The Pats also got 22 saves from Tyler Brown in the win that moves them to 34-6-6-1 on the season, and eight points ahead of Moose Jaw for first place in the East Division.
Bryton Sayers responded for the Blades 1:29 into the third period on the power-play.
The Pats return to action Wednesday when they host the Warriors at the Brandt Centre.
Pats forward Jake Leschyshyn was not in the line-up today, as he is in Quebec City for the CHL Top Prospects game which goes tonight.
