The man accused of shooting Saskatchewan Roughriders running back Joe McKnight has been indicted on one count of second degree murder.
55-year old Ronald Gasser shot McKnight during an apparent road-rage incident near New Orleans on December 1 with him originally being charged with manslaughter.

Gasser’s bond has been increased to 750-thousand dollars following Thursday’s indictment.
If convicted, he faces a life sentence without the possibility of parole, probation or suspended sentence.
