Special Olympics Saskatchewan has announced the 2017 Summer Games will be happen in Moose Jaw from June 16-18.
The Special Olympics Saskatchewan Summer Games are the Provincial qualifying event for the 2018 Special Olympics Canada National Summer Games in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
“Special Olympics Athletes have been training and preparing a long time to get to the Games,” said Faye Matt, CEO of Special Olympics Saskatchewan. “Under the guidance of their highly trained, volunteer coaches, Athletes and Teams have been honing their skills and setting their focus to compete. We are extremely proud to be offering this competition in Moose Jaw.”
This will be the first time in the 41 year history of Special Olympics Saskatchewan that the Summer Games will be hosted in Moose Jaw.
