The Saskatchewan Roughriders are vehemently denying a story on the website 3DownNation.com on Thursday.
That report states the Riders recently worked out quarterback Johnny Manziel in Florida.
The wrinkle is the Riders are not allowed to do so as Manziel’s CFL rights belong to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

TSN’s Gary Lawless is reporting he has spoken with head coach and general manager Chris Jones who says it did not happen, and legal action is being considered against the website.
The Riders also issued a statement on behalf of Jones saying the Riders have not held nor attended a workout involving Manziel.
Jones has states he will no longer speak on the matter. The CFL is also saying the report appears to be false.
