Winnipeg’s Sisler High School will be looking to complete a double at the 65th annual Luther Invitational Tournament Saturday night.
Both the girl’s and boy’s teams have advanced to the final with the girl’s squad playing Lumsden in a 6 o’clock final. Sisler had advanced to the final on Thursday night in the 4 team field with a win over Miller while Lumsden beat the host team in the other semi-final Friday night.
On the boy’s side, Sisler beat the Campbell Tartans in one semi-final by a score of 89-76 to advance to the championship game against Raymond, Alberta. They edged Calgary’s Winston Churchill in the other semi-final 88-87.
Raymond is no stranger to winning LIT as they have done it 12 times previously.
