A girl from a small town in Saskatchewan will be walking down one of the world’s biggest runways this week.
After modelling at the Canada Global Indigenous Runway in Saskatoon in September, 17-year old Amelia Boissoneau was asked by a prominent Native American designer if she wanted to be one of the models at the New York Spring Fashion Show.
Boissoneau, who is from Blaine Lake, says the show will be a great opportunity for her to make connections on one of the fashion world’s biggest venues.
She says it still hasn’t sunk in that she will be modelling in New York.
Boissoneau flies to New York Monday and will take to the runway on Thursday.
